I’m really sorry to hear about your injury and at this point I think it’s totally up to you and not your coach. in the long run, you want to be able to walk and if rowing causes you pain then listen to what your body is telling you and take the time off needed to heal. if you give yourself plenty of time to try and recover and restrengthen with pt and whatnot, maybe you’ll find that come the next fall season you feel good enough to get back into rowing. just please don’t further damage your current Injury.
